Typical morning. After being woke up by the dog or the cat or both at 5am to feed Ellie and take her out, I go back to bed. This was the sight I saw this morning when I woke up for good at 7:30am. Both of them sound asleep! I sometimes want to get back at them by waking them up, but then I let them sleep.

Sweet little puppy who came to stay with us tonight. She's got a splint on her leg, but we don't know the story of why it's there. Her mom's staying with us, too.
