I never liked oatmeal until I started at that last job in California. For some reason lots of people picked it up from the cafeteria in the morning. It was really great. I bought some to try at home, but never remember...
Jim doesn't like oatmeal, but knew it was good for his cholesterol. So, for a while, when Shelby was little, he would eat a more savory oatmeal, made with soup instead of with sugar & milk. He & little Shelby would share it. So, Shelby grew up thinking that *that* was how oatmeal was supposed to be.
ICKY!!!!! Just sugar(brown or white) and a little milk please. Oatmeal always reminds me of Grandma Farrell. I think she ate it every morning of her entire life.
Looks like what I eat in the am. Scary.
