I found a trail near work so I could walk on my lunch break. This is a weed/plant that looks like it belongs in a Dr Suess book. I didn't realize it when I took the picture but it is in three stages of blooming with the 'flower' farthest away from the sun blooming first.
Isn't that a milkweed?

ReplyDeleteBetty, you are right. I thought the leaves looked familar but when I think of milkweed all I see are those dried pods of fluff. But, I just looked up milkweed on the computer and got a picture that looks just like this one.
