Today is Janet's Birthday! I also went to the movies with a friend to see My sister's Keeper. It was really sad but very good.

Marla June 30, 2009

Dylan packing his stuff up for his big move to Chicago tomorrow. Him and a friend have an apartment there.

Margie June 30, 2009

Mmmmmmm......mulberries!

Maureen June 30, 2009

Mammogram day! It was uncomfortable, but I'm glad I did it. You should go, too! ((hug))

Miranda June 30, 2009

Ouch!

Jen June 29, 2009

I was a day late for this picture but I took it today. I can't believe he is 11 months.

Marla June 29, 2009

Helping Andrea and Nathan move...I guess that it must have been break time.

Miranda June 29, 2009

Monday was going to be better?? What happens....I sprain my ankle...seriously??

Margie June 29, 2009

I was putting some branches on the burn pile out back, still feeling crummy about my neighbor, and there among the branches was this daisy growing. Sometimes it's the littlest things like this that can bring a little cheer.

Maureen June 29, 2009

First day of swimming lessons. They're taking them at 7:15p, this year. Of course, this had to be the week where it started cooling off at night...

Sunday, June 28

Jen June 28, 2009

Today James learned how to crawl and now he doesn't stop moving around everywhere.

Marla June 28, 2009

Cooper showing me his awesome parade flag holder idea...love the smile!

Maureen June 28, 2009

Watching the parade go by

Margie June 28, 2009

Spent the day weeding and trimming bushes, trying to keep my mind off the crazy man next door. Also went to a bra party and bought a ridiculously expensive bra. I have always wanted to be measured properly, but had no idea it would be so expensive. But, you know, at those parties it's always hard to leave without buying something. Guess I should have gone to Swedish Days!

Miranda June 28, 2009

We are thinking of starting our own cleaning business....ok, not really...Thank goodness my family jumped in and helped..this was a project we were not prepared for!

Jen June 27, 2009

Today was so crazy our trip for a day of boating turned into a day at the beach. Me and Joe got sunburned though. We were sad that something was wrong with the boat since it hasn't been used in a year. We think it's just the battery. All and All still had fun.

Marla June 27, 2009

Enjoying "Barenaked Ladies" at Summerfest 2009.

Maureen June 27, 2009

We went to visit Al during the day, then, when we got home, Molly & boys were about to leave to bring Keno to Ferson Creek. I loaded the kids back in the car & we went, too. They all had lots of fun!

Miranda June 27, 2009

All I did was clean today...our house and then the townhouse that we rent out....Today sucked...Tomorrow has to be better...or, maybe Monday will be!

Margie June 27, 2009

It's too long of a story for here, but today when I went outside to mow, my neighbor over there started screaming at me. I haven't talked to him in probably over 2 years, and that was when he was screaming at me again. I try to mind my own business and not bother anyone, but anyhow as he did last time, he is threatening to put my child care out of business. And as always, what sets him off never has anything to do with my child care. Guess I'll just cross my fingers and hope it blows over.

I am packing for tomorrow's trip to Lake Geneva for Janet's Birthday.

Maureen June 26, 2009

Donna June 26, 2009

Did you know that Brooks' dog Milo can surf?

Marla June 26, 2009

Having a snow cone at the Swedish Days Kids parade.

Miranda June 26, 2009

Gianni was watching the Cubs game....looks comfy, huh?

Margie June 26, 2009

She was a dog. The leaf was her tail. She also had 3 balls stuffed inside her swim suit. Not sure what they were supposed to represent?!?!?!? I asked her, and she didn't know either. She said that she just felt like putting balls in her suit. OK then.........

Time is flying

Margie June 25, 2009

Today I went to the county recorder's office to look up past deeds to Nikki's house. I have traced it back to 1911 when I believe that it was just land before a house was built. Now I am looking around online into the history of some of the previous owners. At first I thought I had a hot piece of info. on the original owner being a bootlegger. Turns out it was a different guy with the same name. Nikki's guy (who's name is Guy) was a Presbyterian minister - boring! But, I did find that the original owner's mom was related to Farrells! So, I think that in some strange way I must be part owner of that house!

Miranda June 25, 2009

yum....icecream!

Maureen June 25, 2009

Here come the raspberries!

Marla June 25, 2009

I went on a bike ride (a long bike ride) with some people from work. We went 20 miles. I didn't think that I could do it but I made it (now my butt really hurts, I hope that I can walk tomorrow).

Jen June 24, 2009

We were all so tired today!!

Maureen June 24, 2009

Exhausted on the bus on the way home from camp. Her hair is blue-ish because today was Wacky Wednesday.

Margie June 24, 2009

The kids put the sprinkler under the trampoline so they could jump and cool off too. Madi is at her home this week, and I miss her.

Marla June 24, 2009

Colleen and I went to the Swedish Days craft show today. These are pendants for necklaces. We both bought a necklace from this lady. It was lots of fun picking them out because she had so many to choose from.

Miranda June 24, 2009

Me and my best buddy took a nap together today...so nice!

Tuesday, June 23

Jen June 23, 2009

Today we went to Swedish days with my Dad it was so hot out I gave James Ice cream for the 1st time. James was just in his diaper most of the time. He also learned to clap his hands and say yay! Then me and James danced to the music, he loved that.

Marla June 23, 2009

Hot enough for ya?

Actually I drove by this sign on my way to the bank and it read 104 degrees but I didn't have the camera ready.

Maureen June 23, 2009

Walking across the 'Rainbow Bridge' at camp. The tradition is to choose one color & step only on that color while crossing, then, of course, to make a wish at the end. We both chose purple.

Margie June 23, 2009

What else are you going to do when it's 99 degrees out? This, of course, is a backwards dive. And look in the background. Here comes the haywagon for the Girl Scouts to build thier float for the 4th of July parade.

Miranda June 23, 2009

I was out watering the sod today and found a hole. Some water had gotten in the hole and all of a sudden a couple of baby chipmunks came out! It was very cute!

Monday, June 22

Jen June 22, 2009

Just relaxing before bedtime.

Maureen June 22, 2009

Near the end of a hot day at Girl Scout Day Camp - cooling off with some water games

Marla June 22, 2009

Lazy days of summer

Margie June 22, 2009

Here is the point in Jesse's game where they should have put on their rally caps. They started the 7th inning losing, 3-6. Then they got 2 runs in. Jesse had an RBI. It wasn't enough though, and they lost 5-6. It was a fun season anyhow. Now I need to talk him into playing on the tournament team next month. Otherwise, I'll have to wait until next spring for high school baseball.

Miranda June 22, 2009

Why do I get myself addicted to these shows (The Bachelorette)?

Sunday, June 21

Jen June 21, 2009

Today is Father's day we all went to the horse race track. It was soo hot that day. Here's a pic of what we gave Joe for father's day. I went and got pictures of James taken for Joe and my Dad. James was in a Navy uniform.

Miranda June 21, 2009

Gotta love these boys!

Marla June 21, 2009

They tried their "rally caps" but it didn't work. They are out of the playoffs and the 2009 summer baseball season is over.

(Note: The photo was such a perfect shot of 'Boys at baseball game' that it looked to me (Maureen) like they were posing for a Rockwell painting, which made me want to see what it would look like in black & white. Thought I'd add the b/w version here for everyone to see. Nice shot, Marla!)
