Gabby & I went to a baby shower for Bonnie. I used to take care of Bonnie. And, Gabby spent the first 6 weeks of her life as a foster child in Bonnie's home. We found out yesterday that Gabby's very first name was Michelle!

Adam and Cole-Family Campout night at Kane County Cougars stadium.We went to the Cougars game tonight complete with entertainment from the Zooperstars, Fireworks and running the bases (oh, and the Cougars won!). Eric and Cole went earlier today to set up our tent in the picnic area. After the game the campers got to watch a movie from the outfield (I only stayed at the movie for a little bit-I'm sleeping at home tonight). In the morning the Cougars are providing them breakfast. It should be quite an experience. And, we hope to get more family to do it next time that they offer it (we just found out about it this morning...sorry)

We bought new patio furniture and my dad help Joe set it up yesterday and today we enjoyed it. Me and Joe also played checkers. I haven't played that game in years. Plus we ate dinner outside.

Jumping off of a swing at a park that Jim discovered when he delivered a jump to that party that's just breaking up under the pavilion in the background. We find lots of fun playgrounds that way.

This is Kara (and Nick), who has been a long time receptionist for me. She works as I need her, but has been helping me out for at least seven years. If you can't tell, they got married. It was a very nice wedding and reception (held at an art gallery).

Today James took his first bubble bath. Today was also his last day at Gymboree. He wont be back for at least another month or two. This is a picture of his teacher, she loves him so much and says she is going to miss him.

I played cue card holder for Cole tonight. At his school they do the announcements on tv on Fridays. Cole was chosen to be one of the reports this week. So, we practiced some at home.

It was such a nice day me and James spent sometime outside on his play mat he loved it. I also had some of the cutest chocolate I got from the baby shower I was at. It was almost too cute to eat.

As I look back on my day there are so many things that I could have made my "picture of the day". But, I either didn't think about it or I didn't have my camera with. I finally decided to get some allergy testing done at the doctor. My appointment was today and it appears that I am allergic to tree pollens (follow up shots in a few weeks). That was missed photo opportunity number one. Then after dinner Cole, Eric and I took a walk. Missed photo opportunity number two. Stopped at the park to play. Number three. And, I gave Cole a two block piggyback ride on the way home from the park (FYI-he is really heavy). Number four. Instead you get a photo of my KFC free grilled chicken meal rainchecks that needed to be postmarked by today. Sorry, I'll try better tomorrow.
