We've got Bryce & Corey sleeping over tonight. When I showed the kids this pic on my camera, where it's smaller, they thought that the poster behind him made Bryce look like a vampire & that it looked like Annie's head was growing out of his shoulder. A vampire game started shortly thereafter...

My once a year new shoes. But, bummer, with foot problems and having to wear orthodic inserts, I had to get a size 9!!!! Good grief!

Today my friend came over and gave James a late birthday gift. I thought that was so sweet of her. Plus James stood all by himself for a while with out holding on to anything. Then he took his first 2 steps and fed himself today! What a big boy! Also this book came in the mail and it turned out so great.

Cole made dinner tonight. It was chicken with ham and a creamy sauce. Last week he told me that he wanted to learn how to cook. So, I had him look through recipe books and this is one that he chose. I helped a little but he did almost all of it by himself.

We went on a bike ride, today, on the Hart/Montague trail. Rode 4 miles from the town of New Era, to the town of Shelby! Had lots of fun taking pics of Shelby standing by signs that said 'Shelby' on them.

Today Nikki graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude. I am sooooo proud of her. And, she has already begun classes for a second Bachelor's degree - this one in Psychology. After that, she's thinking about law school. You just can't stop this girl!

9:30 at night. Lance comes by on his bike. Says, "Let's go to the corn maze." So, off they go. Bet I get a phone call at 11 PM when the maze closes, asking me to come get them and their bikes to take them home.
