All of these boxes got delivered to the library today. The librarian had ordered TAG reader pens (they are made by Leapfrog). They will be for classroom use (not to be checked out to the students). I was very confused by the "Do Not Open" written on every box...but, I went ahead and opened all of them (I guess that I was never taught to follow instructions)

Lately it looks like it has dwindled down to Marla & Maureen posting. Sorry I haven't kept up. I've been a little busy. Plus I was running out of ideas for pictures and didn't want to keep posting Madi's pictures. So, here are the trees out front. Pretty, but I would much rather be in Alabama, or Florida, or Punta Cana........

Dylan and Clint were both in Geneva tonight. Clint came up to the bowling alley to visit us. And, then after we got done bowling Dylan, Vaughn, Clint and Joe bowled a few games.

So far the new year's resolution is not going so well. I am trying to get to work on time. I am supposed to start at 8:00. No one really cares when I get there but I just can't believe that I'm always late. I'll try to get up 5 minutes earlier tomorrow.

Practicing with our new Tupperware can opener. It really is pretty easy to use, once you get the hang of it & so cool and safe that we're going out of our way to eat canned food, just so we can use it. The other day, Annie & I went to open a can of pineapple & were disappointed to find out it had an easy-open pop-top.

I tried to sort out some paperwork today...but, I didn't get very much done. Whenever I clean up the house for a holiday (or because people are coming over) I toss everything into this laundry basket. It usually sits in there for a long time and generally becomes garbage because all of the dates have passed (on the coupons or events)

As we undecorated the tree, today, we decided to keep all of our 'Clint Ornaments' in one place, together. We ended up using the nice box that one of our Christmas gifts came in. It's perfect for them!

Henry (cat on right) is getting really old. He's got to be about 18 years old, now. He's always been relatively curmudgeonly. He finds a favorite spot & sticks to it for months at a time. Lately, it's been on top of the puppy crate in the kitchen. And, just recently, he's started letting Extra (cat on the left) share the space with him. They are adorable, all cuddled up like that. And, whether she's doing it because she wants the space or because she wants to sweetly cuddle with the old man, it's still nice to see.

We went out to eat at Macaroni Grill for the first time ever tonight. Food was delicious, service was great and they had a milk-allergy friendly menu available for Shelby, which included a dessert that was safe for him! We asked them to substitute that for the usual 'Birthday Ice Cream' and a server sang 'Happy Birthday' to him in Italian!

Putting batteries into one of Allison's old Bop-It toys that Annie found. And, remembering the Simpsons episode from a few weeks ago, where the kids are playing with a 'Bop It' in the car to the point where Homer ends up throwing it out the window. Of course, right then, a father in a passing car does the exact same thing & the Bop It lands in the back seat with Bart & Lisa.

We went out to see Alvin & to go shopping with some Christmas money that they received as gifts. Allison bought a new Zelda game for her DS & was reading us the backstory as we waited in the car for Annie & Jim to come out of Aldi's.
