Today we started Emily on solid foods, she loves it but later that day poor James went to the ER since he woke up with a 104 fever. It was a horrible night for James.

Lots going on at our house today.
The driveway got poured first thing in the morning. Dylan and Fred painted (until the rain came and washed it away). Look at our beautiful freshly poured driveway. And, Susie (Eric's little sister), Aaron and baby Joshua came to visit from Colorado.

We went to Children's Memorial today to participate in an allergy research study. One of the things that we did was get allergy skin tests. We were hoping... But, he's still allergic to milk. The top reaction on the right is the 'control' of histamine. The third one down on the right is where they exposed his skin to milk.

It's hard to see but this is a whole that a chipmunk is making near our window well. I put out a trap today to catch him - and then place him elsewhere so he will stop making holes in our yard!

Eric and I played "Kegger Kick-ball" today. You had to have a beer (or any drink) in your hand when you were up to bat and running the bases. It was pretty interesting.

I took Madi to the playground today. She is pointing to some graffiti that she found in the tunnel. Then, she went off to play. A bit later, still thinking about that graffiti, she said, "I know it says something about love because there is a heart in it." Then she went off to play. After a while, she came back and said, "I know what it says." "It says, "I love his pennies." "You know, like dimes and quarters." I had to go look, just to be sure. There it was - take out one of the "n's" and the second "e." Hilarious! Then, she kept saying, "I wonder why she likes his pennies?" "I wonder why she doesn't like his other money?" A daycare child was with and he kept asking her what it said, and they were both running around the playground singing out, "I love his pennies." Way too funny! And so innocent on their part!

I was holding this little boy's leg while he was laying on top of Jesse's ramp. He was fascinated with the wind blowing the cover of the pool up. He kept saying "bubble!"
