James and Emily's first boat ride. Emily fell asleep most of the time and James got to drive for a little bit and then rode in the front with mommy. He loved it.

Stopped to wade in the creek for a bit, on our way into the Old Fashioned Fourth of July at Kline Creek Farm. They dried off for little while here on the grass, before putting their shoes back on.

Joe is not able to work due to the strike that is going on. So, at the last minute, we took a trip to the Dells. We went to a Deer park where we were able to feed pigs, goats and deer. Gianni loved feeding the pigs!

Vaughn and his girlfriend, Amanda, are taking a 2 week road trip. They are leaving on Monday and going to Colorado and a lot of the national parks. Today Eric and Vaughn finalized the plans and booked some hotel rooms.

Eric and I went up to Summerfest in Milwaukee today. I didn't want to carry my camera so, this is the only picture that got taken today, and it was from Eric's cell phone. By the way...thanks go out to Molly and Colleen for taking care of Cole for us.

This flower shop gets set up every year in the parking lot by Cole's Hapkido and my gym. I found this sign very strange...are they trying to trick us into thinking that we are getting a good deal if we buy 2 of their 10" baskets? or don't they think that we are smart enough to add $18 plus $18?

We took Woody (Dylan's cat) back to the city for him. Then we went to this cool place called "I Cream". They actually make each individual order of ice cream according to your specifications. This is the mixers that are mixing and freezing our ice cream. It was delicious.

Here are a few of the pictures from my friend Tika's wedding to Raj (Tika is in the red sari with the green sash). They are both from Nepal. Most of the rest of the people in the pictures are of my colleagues from India and their families. Wonna, David, Larry and I are probably the exceptions... I've been working with all of them since I left California the last time and they are good friends. I wish I could bring all of them back to meet y'all!
The first picture is of most of the team and their families.
The second is of me and Chirag with his lucky Mom, Divya, in the background... She's lucky that I gave him back!
The third are of most of the kids. When Rajiv showed up, his son (the one in the middle) was terribly shy and would not let go of his Dad's hand. [His mother has died very recently.] But about 45 minutes into the reception, Karthik's two amazingly beautiful daughters and Divya's oldest son broke him free and they all ended up sliding around on the dance floor like crazy Farrell cousins!
The fourth is Divya, David, Ketke, and huggy Chirag. I work with everyone except Chirag...
I was just so dazzled by the saris and how amazing my work-a-day friends looked in them! And they assure me that I would fit easily in the same saris (with less pleats...) but that I'd just need a "slightly" larger blouse to fit underneath ;-). Very polite...

Tiny frog that we found crossing the path at the park district nature sanctuary. We went there to participate in a fort building contest, but after it was over, we went off hunting for frogs.

Aunt Mary Lou and I went to the 'Old Settler's Breakfast' at Mill Race Inn. It is a yearly event during Swedish Days for anyone who has lived in Geneva for 15 years or longer. These hashbrowns were swimming in butter!
