Madi's Daisy Girl Scout troop did a service project this morning. They picked up trash at the Corn Maze. Madi enjoyed it so much. Among her "treasures" that she found were 2 vodka bottles and a stuffed Batman dog with a rip in it.

We went out to dinner at "Chianti's" for our anniversary. Then we walked down to "Graham's 318" for some chocolate fondue.

Jesse needed new shoes for this school year. He wanted these Nike ID's that you customize and order online. I told him that I only budgeted a certain amount for shoes. So, he used his saved birthday money to supplement, and ordered these. I wonder what they thought when they were putting on the words "poopy pants."

Gianni's doctor has recommended us getting a lead test for Gianni since he spends a lot of time at my parents house which was built before 1978. The doctor seemed like he was telling us that just to 'be safe' because he said that the state is cracking down on it.

We walked down to the library tonight, to make copies, then stopped at local businesses on our way home, asking if they'd like to buy advertisements in the "Ramona" program. Annie borrowed another cookbook from the library. I can't wait to see what she & Dad cook up next!

Cole forgot his math book at school. So, instead of running back to school he called a friend and borrowed his book. Cole rode his bike down to Zach's house got the book, then brought it home and we Xeroxed the page. And, then Cole rode is bike back to return the book.

Boy am I exhausted tonight, we had a very busy day. First I went to a doc appt and the kids went to daycare while I was there. I am going to pain management and pt for my back I was told I have 2 degenerative discs and it looks like a little scoliosis I think that's how you spell it. Then we went to the mall to get James and Emily new shoes, This is Emily's first walking shoes. She is now trying to walk. My back and legs are killing me from all the walking we did today. Can't wait to see Joe tomorrow night.

Showing me all of the things that she got at 'store' at school today. She brings home this much stuff two or three times a week. It's nice to know she's behaving and earning 'dollars' to use at the 'store', but she's got plenty of toys & stuffed animals already!

Cole is trying out the new push broom that I bought today. The squirrels are just having a field day with the acorns on that tree. And, they make such a mess on the driveway. Whenever Cole wants to play basketball or skateboard we sweep the driveway off.

Today we went to the mall real quick we barely made it, we ended up taking to long cause the store we parked by closed on us so we went through and emergency exit instead and ended up half way around the mall from where we parked and it was raining. James and Emily were in the stroller and Emily was covered and as you can see James was not he was screaming in the rain but having fun. I was soaked and so was James.

Bye, bye swimming for this year....see you next summer. Jesse had the distinction of being the last swimmer of this season when he had to jump in today to retrieve a bag of sand that fell off the steps that it was holding down. Brrrr!! By the way, Colleen, how did you do with you pool? All fixed? Still need help?

Cole is learning to skateboard from Fred and Tommy (a couple of the guys from "Secret Colours"). This is in Tommy's backyard. (It's pretty cool he has a half pipe in his backyard).

Eric and I went to my class reunion tailgate party tonight. It was actually quite fun (I wasn't so sure that it would be). I am not planning on going to the actual fancier class reunion tomorrow night though.
