I want to point at the 'School Bond Issue' sign and laugh like Nelson in The Simpsons - "Haw Haw!". Didn't even see this sign until today, the day after the election, when, finally, after previous attempts over the past couple of years, the school referendum passed by 113 votes.

Shelby decided that he wanted to try skateboarding today. We couldn't find an old one in our garage, so we took him to buy himself one at Target. He's much better on it, already, than I ever was or ever will be.

Human mousetrap. He didn't catch it, today, but we're pretty sure we covered up the hole in our foundation that we saw it crawl into once. We don't mind if it lives out in the yard or garage, just not in the house.

Tonight I made yummy chicken cheese enchiladas they were sooooo good. I never cooked like this before. at first I wasn't sure if I could do it with out help but I did it! I also did it while I was watching my neighbors daughter. Then I went over to her house to put her to sleep and wait for her mom and dad. Very busy day.

This is about one third of the kids that a couple of other mothers & I had to keep quiet in this room during two performances, today. They did pretty good for the first one. Not so much for the second one. Spending this much time with other people's children, though, almost always makes me appreciate mine more.

Today its Jessica's 19th birthday! I made a great dinner chicken with vegetables and rice. I didn't end up taking a picture of it cause it was gone so fast. I baked a pumpkin pie and had that for dessert. I really never cooked anything from scratch The most difficult thing i've made was mac and cheese. I am now starting to learn to cook. If you have any great recipes please send them my way. I am really liking to cook.

carved the little pumpkin and got the seeds out cleaned them and i'm going to bake them tomorrow. I also am now making emily's baby food now. Love how much I'm saving and knowing how healthy it is.

went out with Brady and Janet, Joe and the kids. We went to a museum. It was a beautiful day! We had so much fun!! Plus later on that night Me and Janet played " Just Dance" for wii. It was so much fun a what a work out!

I finally found the time to make an appointment to meet with the food service representative for the school district. She gave me all kinds of ingredient lists and preparation information so that we could decide which school lunch menu items were safe for Shelby & which weren't. He's having hot lunch at school, tomorrow!

Just before dinner, we decided to go out & try to fly a kite in the blustery wind. The kite flew great, although kind of crazy at times. Then the string broke & the kids had fun chasing it across the park.
