so I heard Chicago got a little bit of snow. We got some nice weather. It was beautiful outside! lol. I was so happy we weren't there for that. Hope everyone stayed nice and warm inside.

My hero of the day....Steve!...our neighbor...he came over and snowblowed our whole driveway. And, then after the snowplow came by he came back and did it again. We really owe him, I think that I'm going to make him cookies and get him a gas station gift card. Yeah Steve!!!

We were out shoveling when this guy passed by & offered to plow out our driveway. We watched as he & his friend, following him in a pickup truck, stopped at other driveways up and down our street.

I just wanted to let whoever put these lottery tickets in the Christmas grab bag know the results. I took my time scratching them and just finished a couple weeks ago. I wasn't doing so good...3 free tickets, a $2 winner, a $5 winner and then on one of the last tickets that I scratched (the one that cost $10) I got a $100 winner!!! Thanks!

Today I put on a badge workshop for Girl Scouts. Madi helped me load the car with supplies before we headed there to set up. She slipped on ice by the front step and fell and hit the back of her head. Nikki took her to the emergency room and she got 2 staples.

Annie's math teacher gave her and another girl some extra work to challenge themselves with over the weekend, just for fun. She started working on it on Friday evening. Allison & I were helping her, but she didn't really need all that much help.

Cole (being the student council treasurer) is helping count money that they have collected at school. The money is being donated towards childhood cancer. The class that earns the most money gets a lunch from Olive Garden. Cole's class has the lead pretty much locked in.

When Shelby got in the car after school, today, he took this out of his backpack to show to me right away. He said that he drew it during math class, when he was bored because they were talking about lines, again. I like his doodles - he gets so goofy & creative in them.

Today we went to a birthday party and James and Emily had a lot of fun. And we also watched the Bears vs Green Bay. Bears lost. : ( Yesterday i didn't take a picture but friends came over and Joe left the gate open and the dogs ran away lucky Riley came back when I called and my friends caught Juneau. I'm so lucky to have my friends and dogs.
