The kids have been going with a friend to his church's youth group meetings on Tuesday nights. They've been building pinewood derby cars at their meetings for the past few weeks. Tonight, they raced them.

The kids in Shelby's class were supposed to be making pinhole suncatchers with the thumbtacks & hearts. Instead, they turned it into a therapeutic session of 'stabbing the heart'. Later, this boy ended up poking himself so hard with the thumbtack that he nearly passed out from the shock of it.

Annie & I went with another scout & her mom to help pick up the cases of girl scout cookies for her troop. We filled the back of the truck, three to four cases high and still had to carry another 8 cases in the cab of the truck with us!

James got sick in my bed when he slept with me last night and then all morning he has been really tired and not like himself. He asked to take a nap on the couch. He stayed there for a long time. He started to feel better at night.
