First, fueling... It's double-scary. First, you have to get to the pump without hitting anything AND have a way to get out by only pulling forward. (You actually can't put it in reverse when you are towing the car.) Second, I'll spare you all the sticker shock. Let's just say we're happy that we are finally seeing prices under $4...

A totally amazing "Pig Pizza" at a restaurant in Willcox, AZ. It had pepperoni, pork sausage, ham and bacon. It was only 10", but I could only manage 2 slices...
I guess grocery shopping is in order for me. I had to use string cheese for our meal tonight...nothing wrong with being creative, right!? : )
There've been signs up for a few days now, warning us that Washington St would be closed in the eastbound lane starting today. I found an article online, today, saying that they were planning on keeping one lane or the other closed for construction all the way through October! Yikes! I hope that article was wrong!

We are so humbled by the love we felt at Gianni's party yesterday. Thank you all for coming! It means the world to us! Today, we played and played and played! Such a fun day!
There were a couple of small black & white birds hanging out, all morning, on the lilac bush outside of this window. The cats were on alert there the whole time. We hung some yarn pieces on the branches & put out a birdseed bell, hoping that the birds would build a nest somewhere close.
The first is just a nice train/mountain picture.
The second shows an empty car-carrier thingy that had just passed us. When it was closer, Dick said "Want to do a Hollywood stunt...?"

My current boss "asked" me to send pictures of our trip, so I've been taking them... Took a day off the road today (3/30/11) (for me to work and for Dick to rest), so I wanted to send them on to the family too.
The first is us leaving San Francisco. If I had a better camera, you could see the building I worked in in the distance.
The second is some nice rolling hills just past Gilroy, the garlic capital of the US.
The last is the sock I'm working on. I'm determined to have two by the time we hit Alabama!

Got home from Austin this afternoon...I guess that it's time we cut our SXSW wristbands off.

Playing at a frat house. That's their friend, Lenny, lying on the ground (he was taking pictures for the "Red Eye Chicago". And, then rocking out at "Agave", they got asked to come back and play later that night (which they did).
