After 16 months, I finally got the floors grouted today...what a tedious job! But, in a weird way, it was relaxing!

Farrells last prayer circle at St.Marys. Because of that they honored the eighth grade by making them stand in the middle and then Mrs.Ray, use to be pre-school now first grade teacher, said a few words about some of the kids. She recalled how Farrell was the only boy in the class and how he liked to vacuum the room before he left for the day. I am not sure he even would remember how to run a vacuum now. This teacher was special. She taught him 3 and 4 year old pre-school and then when he was moving into first grade so did she. Nice memories.

We'll often tape interesting things that the kids made onto our walls, then leave them there indefinitely. A month or so ago, Annie & Bryce had a game where they'd make pictures of 'good vs evil', then bring them to other people in the house & ask them to circle the winner - 'good' or 'evil'. Annie always rooted for 'good' to win. Bryce had fun rooting for 'evil'. :-) I'm not sure which of the two of them drew this picture, but it makes me smile every time I walk past it.

Today was nice enough to fill the baby pool and swim in it for the first time. He loved it. Then we took the dogs a bath outside. Juneau was a big baby about it though.

Remember that picture from Feb. 25? The scale read 158. It has taken me 3 months but I have finally made it into the 140's! 10 pounds in 3 months - maybe I'll have to do another picture in August to see if I can drop another 10.
