I was balancing the checkbook (haven't done it in months-I figured that it was about time that I did) and Cole was doing his homework. I found it funny that he was multiplying 3 digits numbers by 2 digit numbers the long way and I was subtracting numbers with a calculator.
We brought Annie's Girl Scout cookie order form to Al's dorm today & hit the jackpot! Thanks Allison! Thanks college students!
What a weekend.....first G was walking, then he decided to climb the stairs! : )
She was getting her book to read for school tonight & I asked her to pose with it, pretending to be reading. Then, to be goofy, I told her to hold it upside down & pretend like she was reading it like that. She did, but then was laughing because she said that she could read it just fine like that, too.
Woody came to visit this weekend...he helped me empty the dishwasher...Thanks, Woody!
Finally got caught up with putting patches on Annie's Brownie vest! It feels good having that done (for now)!
I don't know if you remember, but Mom always used to say "No fighting, no biting" to us and to her child care kids whenever they were arguing. I came across this book on my bookshelf today. Funny how you pick up certain things people say. I am always saying "no fighting, no biting" to my child care kids, and now I hear them saying it too.
They have a shortcut over the fence - up on the doghouse, over the fence, land on the kid-sized picnic table.
We met up with some friends tonight at their house. G and their son were sleeping together...
All of these boxes got delivered to the library today. The librarian had ordered TAG reader pens (they are made by Leapfrog). They will be for classroom use (not to be checked out to the students). I was very confused by the "Do Not Open" written on every box...but, I went ahead and opened all of them (I guess that I was never taught to follow instructions)
Lately it looks like it has dwindled down to Marla & Maureen posting. Sorry I haven't kept up. I've been a little busy. Plus I was running out of ideas for pictures and didn't want to keep posting Madi's pictures. So, here are the trees out front. Pretty, but I would much rather be in Alabama, or Florida, or Punta Cana........
