At Mass they had relics from St. Gianna. After Mass we could actually touch them. They said this was a first, since relics have always been enclosed in a case or something. I held her gloves, and prayed for our family, some in particular...

About a month ago, Roger greatly cut back my rose bush. The other day, I noticed one pretty bud opening. With this cold, I don't imagine it will last long, but will see.

Last game of the regular season, today. Annie's team finished in first place. Go Wolves! Their first playoff game is next week.

We received official word of our layoffs from work, today. I was fine with that news, since we had been expecting it. But, I started to be sad when I went in the bathroom after the meeting & remembered how I used to pump milk for the babies in this bathroom, after I'd gone back to work. So much of my life for the past 20 years has gone on in this building.

Double-header today, to make up for a game that got rained out last week. It was a cold, cold, cold day out there at the softball field. They mostly played Annie out in the field, but she did catch for a couple of innings, too.
