We stopped at Warrenville Grove forest preserve on the way home from Naperville, where we went to bring Allison some things she'd forgotten at home. I took so many pictures there, but kept coming back to this one when sorting through my pictures tonight. I just love the shades of color on Annie's face.

I made "Very, very veggie stew" in the crock-pot today. I've never tried to cut a butternut squash before...guess that I should have used a stronger knife, the handle just busted right off leaving the blade in the squash.

This is an extension of cleaning my laundry room which I started a year ago. I have amassed stacks and stacks of papers with ideas for child care, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts. I spent the entire day sorting and filing the papers. I still have a lot to do, but did make a huge dent. Whew!
