We went to Jump Zone today with Gianni's preschool classmates. It was Gabriele's first time at a place like this! A bloody nose and a bloody lip (one for each) later, we knew it was time to go home for lunch and naps! But, a good time was had!

The flowers are blooming on the tree in our front yard. It was already there when we moved in & I don't know what kind of tree it is. One of these years, I'll look it up so that I'll know what it's called.

We went to the Elburn Fire Department today with some of the kids from Gianni's preschool. I belong to a group of moms whose kids are in Early Childhood. So, only some of these kids will be in Gianni's class this year.

We went out to Nelson Lake Marsh to look for some pelicans tonight. There weren't any there today, but there was a beautiful sun setting.

The girl scouts had an ice skating field trip today & I brought the boys along, too. None of us had ever ice skated before and, by the end of the day, we were all able to skate across the ice without holding onto the wall!
