We have a new pastor at our church. He came from St. Peter's in Geneva! It was very heartwarming to see many families (mine included) who had been attending Mass at a neighboring parish return to our home church. Hopefully we will all stay and rebuild the community that we had here.

We went to church tonight and met our new pastor. We thought of you and wondered what you thought of Father Joe.
I like him very much. Before he began Mass, he told us a little about himself. One of his role models is Fr. Plesa who was our very dear and well-loved pastor for many years. Fr. Plesa was Fr. Joe's pastor when he was growing up in Cary. After Mass there was a big line of people waiting to introduce themselves. I thought about standing in line, but then left. I'll try again next week.
