Bringing our 'new' stove home. The oven on our old one stopped working on Friday night. We got this one from some guy in Elgin, who was selling it on Craigslist & picked it up tonight. Tomorrow, we rearrange our kitchen so that it will fit, since it's 10 inches wider than our old one. We're really looking forward to cooking in a normal sized oven!

Guess I should look at Craigslist. (never have). The oven part of my stove isn't working much either! Hooray for you and many happy meals!
We've replaced just about every major appliance in our home by buying a used one from someone on craigslist. Most of the time the person selling was either moving or had got a new one themselves, wanting to get rid of their old one.
