There are so many things that I could do with $62,000, and the LAST thing I would do is buy a diamond. Can't believe people have money to do that.
Although I agree with you wholeheartedly (which is why my entire set is less than most people pay in monthly rent/mortgage), I guess I am somewhat grateful that someone can afford these stones, it provides me with income.
