I have not found the time to post pictures lately. I am going to try to get back to doing it more regularly. So, Madi and I made some "Gak." Next thing I know, she is laying on the couch with it over her eyes like a facial mask.
In a bowl mix: 3/4 c. warm water 1 c. Elmer's glue a few drops food color
In another bowl mix: 3/4 c. warm water (actually just a tiny bit less than 3/4 c.) 1 tsp. powdered 20 Mule Team Borax (found in laundry section of store)
Dump the borax mix into the glue mix. The glue will instantly turn into gak. Pick it up and put it on the table. It will be a bit sticky and wet. Use a paper towel to mop up the wet on the table. The more you work with the gak, it will lose it's stickiness and become smooth.
