Are you cashier? I am at JCPenney this year. Pretty much the same as Kohls last year - long hours on my feet, staying past midnight to fold clothes, badgering people to open credit cards. What fun! But, I certainly do appreciate the extra income.
The first day I did cashier training & worked cashier for a little while. Last night, I spent all of my time sorting the clearance stuff by size, which was relaxing (but, I was definitely wearing the wrong shoes for the job - my feet were so sore at the end of the shift!). Not sure what I'm doing on Black Friday, but I'm working from 11:30p until 8am! The extra money is what it's all about. Not sure how much I'll use the employee discount, though - things are so expensive to begin with there. Last night, when we were balancing out the cash register, there was a check in the drawer for $740! Someone spent $740 there yesterday, in the women's department... Probably more money than I'll make the whole time I'm working there this season :-) We're supposed to badger people for the credit cards, too. But on the night that I worked register, almost everyone already had one, anyway.

I worked at that one too!! I worked at Juniors. I liked working there.
