I always feel a bit honored when a bird chooses to make her nest in our yard. Found this one, today, when I was taking laundry in & startled mom who flew away. She has built her nest on top of the water meter in our backyard.
We have a nest by us, but no eggs yet. We see the mama bird getting ready a lot! It's super fun for Gianni to watch - although, he some times wants to get too close! : )

We found a nest of duck eggs by front door two days ago, and a duck comes and goes but I haven't seen her sit on the nest.
