Our turn for car troubles, this time... The van's fuel pump went out on Sat night, as Jim was just starting out to pickup the jumps he'd delivered earlier in the day. So, we had it towed and, on Sunday, we borrowed Mike's truck to finish our pickups & make one more delivery for the day. The kids thought it was the coolest car they'd ever been in, in their whole lives! Thanks, Mike!

Went to the fireworks in Lakemoor. Apparently the fireworks company invites all the town officials from neighboring towns to view this show. They set off all of their best fireworks to persuade the towns to hire them for next year's shows. It was pretty amazing.

Yesterday Nikki's dog Coco was attacked by another dog. Sadly, she did not survive. To top it off, while driving franticaly to find a vet open, Nikki slid on the wet pavement and slammed against a curb, leaving her with a bent axle and an undriveable car.

Today I'm 6 months pregnant! Time does fly. Only 4 more months. I can't wait to meet my little girl. Also today we found out that we will be moving back to Virginia in 6 months.

Eric and I went to Zanies tonight. FYI-Thursday nights they have free admission if you live or work in Geneva, St. Charles, West Chicago, Batavia or Carol Stream. You just have to show proof of address. The comics were all really funny. The headliner was Kyle Cease (I think that he is the guy that we saw at Miranda's bachelorette party)

I was called to be part of a marketing focus group regarding Cub Scout popcorn sales. Getting $100 to spend one & a half hours around a conference table with other scout parents, talking about the popcorn sale, wasn't too bad at all! Today we got home at noon and then finished opening up James birthday gifts. We are all so tired. We were playing scrabble with Joe's mom and got addicted to it. so Joe went to the store and bought it for us and we played that for a while then went to bed early. It's nice to be home.

Dylan got his wisdom teeth out today. He was still kinda spacey on the way home but he wanted to talk. I kept telling him that they said that he shouldn't talk (because they wanted him biting down on the gauze to stop the bleeding). Finally I gave him some paper and a pen.
