Cole has really been enjoying watching golf lately. He started really getting into it because he read a biography about Tiger Woods for a book report. He was so excited that "The Masters" started today. He asked if they could watch it while they ate dinner.
Madi painted this picture at school. She was so proud of it. And, I like it too. I plan to get a frame for it and hang it in her room.
The spinning wheel that I bought for almost half price at the weavers conference I went to the week before Disney World. Dick cleaned out the car today and brought it inside!
It was really cool the way the camera caught the raindrops. But, it was even cooler the way the flash lit them up when I took pics on our night-time walk in the drizzle.
Today we went to the park it was soo nice out. James just kept running around and around he really tired himself out.
I found out today that one of the kids I used to work with at the psych hospital passed away. Very sad....and truly puts life into perspective.
The woes of running late and leftovers. I was running out the door at the last minute, as usual, and grabbed two container of Easter leftovers (for my lunch/dinner at work) which I thought were Scalloped Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes. Imagine my surprise when I opened them and found Pineapple and Beans. Needless to say, I went out to eat.
Fun day at work today. We had a visiting author/illustrator come in to spend the day giving presentations to the students. Then at night he did a family night in the gym. His name is Tom Lichtenheld and he actually lives in Geneva. He wrote/illustrated 11 books so far. Some of his best ones are "Everything I Know About Pirates", "Duck! Rabbit!" and "What Are You So Grumpy About". He was very interesting to listen to.
Last week I had a deam that I won some gold. Today, after lunch, I wanted something sweet. I went to the snack closet. When I opened the door, a fortune cookie fell to the floor. So I said, "OK, I'll eat it." Here is my fortune. So......SHOW ME THE GOLD!
Cherry blossoms after the rain this morning. When Annie was little, she would stand on anything she could push close to the fence, so that she could reach up and eat the cherries off of this bush on the other side. These days, she's big enough to climb over the fence, just for the fun of it, without even standing up on anything first.
Well today I went to the hospital again but for me this time. A check-up. The kids were soo good. I really had to add a second picture cause she just looks so cute!!

All the Easter Dishes are washed except these two roasting pans which I left to soak.
Miranda and I met for a jog today. We are doing our first 5K on Sunday. We decided that today was a good day to start training for it (probably should have started a few months ago). When I got home I tracked how far we had gone (Thanks for the website, Tim). We probably jogged about 2 - 2.5 miles and then walked the other 3 - 3.5 miles.

Happy Easter! I'm feeling better now and so we went to a friends house for Easter dinner. James tired himself out and we had a Easter egg hunt at the house. I had to put the last picture in cause it was sooo cute! James and Emily were watching Sesame Street together. James sat right next to Emily on him own.
Surprisingly, Brooks was the first one to arrive on Easter Day. When he asked if he could help with anything, I gave him a couple things to do including slicing the cheese and putting it on the plate. What a beautiful display!
I feel soo sick today but we got the eggs done. I can barely get up. I started to feel sick yesterday. I wanted to go on an easter egg hunt for James but I'm just too sick. Wish we were at Colleen's and I was healthy.

Emily had her check up today. the examine table was sooo cute. We now go to the Air force base for our doctors visits. She weighs 15 1/2 lbs and she is in the 98% in weight and height she is 89%. they say she is really big and tall. Looks like she doesn't take after her mommy.

I took the kids out wading in the creek at a park in Winfield, tonight. They found this frog statue somewhere in the water. They gave it to Corey, because he likes frogs.
