Cousin's day Colorado style-We went skeet shooting. Cole, Vaughn, Eric and Dylan have all done it on previous trip to Colorado with Uncle Scott. I had never been with on these other trips and they convinced me to try it. So now I can check "shoot a shotgun" off of my bucket list (even though it would never have been on mine)

Trading beans & growing crops. It's a card game called 'Bohnanza', but they like to play it cooperatively, instead of competitively. So, it's more like they're just playing 'Bean Farm'.

Today James and I woke up to a weird siren outside so we looked out the window and people we outside looking too. So I grabbed my robe and took James with me and saw Santa in a firetruck waving to all the kids. James ran up to him and shook his hand and then got candy canes they were handing out. Then later that day we saw Santa at the mall and took pictures this Santa took time to talk to the kids while we were picking out the pictures.

I worked overnight at Carson's for the black Friday sale, so I was wiped out tired all day today - didn't do much of anything & couldn't sleep. I had to go out to pick up our copy of the Willy Wonka DVD tonight, so I decided we'd walk, to get us all some fresh air & exercise. It was such a nice night for walking!

Thanksgiving with Grandpa! James loved watching the food bake in the oven and he loved how it smelled. My favorite was the brown sugar sweet potatoes they were sooo good. Emily also loved playing with Grandpa, she just kept piling up toys on him and usually Daddy never lets her do that so she was happy Grandpa didn't mind.

Delivering the spelling bee participation packets to all of the students who signed up, at all of the different district schools. So far, 70 students are registered to participate, but there are still two schools that I haven't collected registrations from, yet. And, of course, I'm sure there will be latecomers, too.

Dylan's new winter jacket arrived today. What I don't understand are these sticky notes. Now, if I were a thief and I were going to steal the package that is sitting outside of our door, I would also take the sticky note. Then the owner of the house would not even know that the package had been delivered.

All of the Merra-Lee shops downtown Geneva are closing after 82 years in business. I went down today to check out the sales. I kinda like the bracelet on the left and thought that maybe I would send the photo to Eric, incase he is looking for a gift idea for me.

Shelby was helping me get some things from the PTO closet after school today, to get ready for tomorrow's dineout night. After we carried the stuff out to the car, he went exploring for a while in the wooded area by his school's parking lot.
