Madi got a surprise package in the mail today from Aunt Molly. Cockroaches! She was thrilled! Thanks, Molly, for that fun surprise! The package came in the morning, and I wanted Madi to wait until Nikki came home in the evening to open it. But I spent all day doing a Laura Petrie imitation - poking, shaking, squeezing the package, dying to know what was inside!

This is James 1st girlfriend. She loves hugging him and he like to hold her hand.
Also today I got admitted to the hospital to get steroids for the baby, and to stop my contractions.

Cole October 7, 2009

This is me trying to figure out what to request to FM 89.1. I ended up asking Alison to play Dance Dance by Fall out boy. It was the right decision.

Marla October 7, 2009

We had a really cute visitor at bowling tonight.

Maureen October 7, 2009

Apparently, I am on the 'Health and Wellness' committee at work. Today, three of us (Colleen had the day off) put together a bulletin board, mostly because the corporate bigwigs are coming to our office tomorrow & we wanted them to think we were on the ball with this whole company-wide 'Health and Wellness' initiative... My part was the lower right-hand corner, with info about the physical & emotional benefits of walking, along with info on local forest preserves & labyrinths.

The fun never stops.

Marla October 6, 2009

I ran to Pheasant Run today to pick up some tickets for Cole and I to go see "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Does anyone want to go with us?

Margie October 6, 2009

Gabby and Bonnie, and Bonnie's son Jayden. Gabby spent the first 6 weeks of her life at Bonnie's house, and I took care of Bonnie and her sister Terry for years. They all came over for a visit tonight.

Maureen October 6, 2009

Family Reading Night put on by WeGo for Kids tonight. They had a bilingual storyteller there as a part of the evening. Shelby was a bit distracted during the performance. He & I ended up playing around with the camera a bit & got this extreme closeup shot. We think it looks like someone is inside of the computer, looking out at us :-)

Jen October 5, 2009

Today I went to the hospital due to contractions they had to give me an IV and a shot to stop the contractions. I hate IV's.

Marla October 5, 2009

Eric heading out of town for work. He went to southern Illinois and will be gone for a couple of days. Since his car hasn't been working he got a rental car for the trip. He was supposed to have an economy car but they didn't have one available for him so he ended up with this big truck.

Margie October 5, 2009

It was getting late, I didn't have a picture yet, and Madi was running around the house with a headband/flashlight on, so here you go.

Maureen October 5, 2009

Bringing our 'new' stove home. The oven on our old one stopped working on Friday night. We got this one from some guy in Elgin, who was selling it on Craigslist & picked it up tonight. Tomorrow, we rearrange our kitchen so that it will fit, since it's 10 inches wider than our old one. We're really looking forward to cooking in a normal sized oven!

Marla October 4, 2009

He says that he really doesn't like math, that he's not very good at it. So, what would every parent say...."The only way that you are going to get better is by practicing"

Cole October 4, 2009

This is me and Dylan hugging. We had not seen each other in a long time.
