Today we went with Grandpa trick or treating at the mall. Then we went back to my mom's house and I went around the neighborhood and went trick or treating with James. It was so cold out. James loved looking at all his candy. My mom and grandma were in the hospital because my grandma had pneumonia really bad.

You saw Cole's costume a few days ago. Now here's the rest of us (I think this is probably the first year that all of us have dressed up). Vaughn and Amanda were Mario and Luigi (Amanda still needed to get her mustache). Eric and I were a cowgirl and a Packer fan. Dylan is Zia McCabe (yes, he's a girl) from the band "The Dandy Warhols".

Apparently I only had enough of this yarn to make a hat and half a scarf... So, I ordered enough to finish the scarf and to make some mittens too. But since I had to pay extra postage to get it here in Nashville before we leave, I also ordered 3 new pattern books to make the extra postage worthwhile...

My friend, Mandi, had her daughters birthday party tonight at Jumpzone. It was Gianni's first birthday party that he went to..so cute! I love this picture because G just kept playing with this kid and would not look at the camera...

The neighbor has a nice maple tree. He was out blowing his leaves and was, quite politely, blowing the maple leaves that fell into our yard back over into his yard. We hurried out & started raking and 'borrowing back' some of the leaves, so that we could have a nice leaf pile to play in! His maple leaves are so much more fun than our tiny apple & cherry leaves.

I couldn't get too close to take a picture because it's the crabby neighbor's house, but I was out in the yard with Jesse and the little kids, and Jesse says, "Hey Mom, is that a chicken coming into our yard?" Sure enough, it was. There's about 10 of them over there. First time I ever saw them. This should be interesting........
