We took Corey with us out to the nature sanctuary where we've built our fort. The kids made me nervous as they stepped out onto the ice of the marsh.

My least favorite part of my walk home from the train. This is the tunnel that goes under the track & you can't see if there are any bad guys down there.

Yes, it is January 5th in Chicago and instead of picking up my shovel I picked up my rake (it was 45ish degrees out). We have one tree that holds onto it's leaves forever and all of these leaves were beginning to bother me. I felt so strange raking around the snowman and polar bear.
