We stopped at Warrenville Grove forest preserve on the way home from Naperville, where we went to bring Allison some things she'd forgotten at home. I took so many pictures there, but kept coming back to this one when sorting through my pictures tonight. I just love the shades of color on Annie's face.

I was playing around with the camera today, trying to see if I could get a full room shot. Mostly I see that it is time to declutter this room.

I made "Very, very veggie stew" in the crock-pot today. I've never tried to cut a butternut squash before...guess that I should have used a stronger knife, the handle just busted right off leaving the blade in the squash.
