My baby sleeping

Miranda January 10, 2010

What a weekend.....first G was walking, then he decided to climb the stairs! : )

Maureen January 10, 2010

She was getting her book to read for school tonight & I asked her to pose with it, pretending to be reading. Then, to be goofy, I told her to hold it upside down & pretend like she was reading it like that. She did, but then was laughing because she said that she could read it just fine like that, too.

Maureen January 9, 2010

Finally got caught up with putting patches on Annie's Brownie vest! It feels good having that done (for now)!

Margie January 9, 2010

I don't know if you remember, but Mom always used to say "No fighting, no biting" to us and to her child care kids whenever they were arguing. I came across this book on my bookshelf today. Funny how you pick up certain things people say. I am always saying "no fighting, no biting" to my child care kids, and now I hear them saying it too.

Miranda January 9, 2010

Gianni's latest trick...walking with the shopping cart! : )

Maureen January 7, 2010

No more braces!

Marla January 7, 2010

All of these boxes got delivered to the library today. The librarian had ordered TAG reader pens (they are made by Leapfrog). They will be for classroom use (not to be checked out to the students). I was very confused by the "Do Not Open" written on every box...but, I went ahead and opened all of them (I guess that I was never taught to follow instructions)

Margie January 7, 2010

Lately it looks like it has dwindled down to Marla & Maureen posting. Sorry I haven't kept up. I've been a little busy. Plus I was running out of ideas for pictures and didn't want to keep posting Madi's pictures. So, here are the trees out front. Pretty, but I would much rather be in Alabama, or Florida, or Punta Cana........

Jen January 5, 2010

1st time James ordered from the kiddy menu.

Marla January 5, 2010

So far the new year's resolution is not going so well. I am trying to get to work on time. I am supposed to start at 8:00. No one really cares when I get there but I just can't believe that I'm always late. I'll try to get up 5 minutes earlier tomorrow.

Maureen January 5, 2010

Practicing with our new Tupperware can opener. It really is pretty easy to use, once you get the hang of it & so cool and safe that we're going out of our way to eat canned food, just so we can use it. The other day, Annie & I went to open a can of pineapple & were disappointed to find out it had an easy-open pop-top.

Maureen January 4, 2010

The outside of Allison's dorm at night. I went there to bring her some things that she forgot when she moved back in yesterday.

Marla January 4, 2010

Maureen January 3, 2010

Thank you notes that I had the kids do today, to send to an Aunt of Jim's who lives far away & who sent them a very generous gift for Christmas. Now, I've got to add a letter myself & mail them off tomorrow.

Marla January 3, 2010

Cole and I helped Colleen with a job that she is working on for the first communion students at St. Peter's.

Jen January 2, 2010

Emily is going to take a picture next to this bear every week.

Marla January 2, 2010

I tried to sort out some paperwork today...but, I didn't get very much done. Whenever I clean up the house for a holiday (or because people are coming over) I toss everything into this laundry basket. It usually sits in there for a long time and generally becomes garbage because all of the dates have passed (on the coupons or events)

Maureen January 2, 2010

As we undecorated the tree, today, we decided to keep all of our 'Clint Ornaments' in one place, together. We ended up using the nice box that one of our Christmas gifts came in. It's perfect for them!

Happy New Year!!2010!

Maureen January 1, 2010

Henry (cat on right) is getting really old. He's got to be about 18 years old, now. He's always been relatively curmudgeonly. He finds a favorite spot & sticks to it for months at a time. Lately, it's been on top of the puppy crate in the kitchen. And, just recently, he's started letting Extra (cat on the left) share the space with him. They are adorable, all cuddled up like that. And, whether she's doing it because she wants the space or because she wants to sweetly cuddle with the old man, it's still nice to see.

Marla January 1, 2010

Eric and Cole cleaned out our stereo cabinet today by sorting and organizing all of our CD's.

James loves rocking on his horse, this used to be Jessica's when she was little

Maureen December 30, 2009

We went out to eat at Macaroni Grill for the first time ever tonight. Food was delicious, service was great and they had a milk-allergy friendly menu available for Shelby, which included a dessert that was safe for him! We asked them to substitute that for the usual 'Birthday Ice Cream' and a server sang 'Happy Birthday' to him in Italian!

Marla December 30, 2009

Joe won the fantasy football league.

Tuesday, December 29

Jen December 29, 2009

My Dad made this highchair for me when I was little for my dolls, It's so funny Emily can fit in it now. She looks just like a little doll

Maureen December 29, 2009

Putting batteries into one of Allison's old Bop-It toys that Annie found. And, remembering the Simpsons episode from a few weeks ago, where the kids are playing with a 'Bop It' in the car to the point where Homer ends up throwing it out the window. Of course, right then, a father in a passing car does the exact same thing & the Bop It lands in the back seat with Bart & Lisa.

Marla December 29, 2009
