This is a sister to Colleen's cat. We have her mother and another sister at our house, too.

Cole and I went on a field trip today after school. We worked at "Feed our starving children" for a few hours. We put together packets of a rice mixture to send to Haiti. I smell a cousins day idea.
Miranda May 12, 2010
G and I were playing with the camera today. He thought it was so funny when I took a picture of him - of course he laughed hysterically after the picture was taken!

Movers came today and today was the kids first day of daycare. The movers blocked my bathroom and some of my drawers in my room and the whole house was filled with boxes.

We got our new light put outside on Saturday. We still have to get the electric hooked up, but I'm excited to have it finally put up since we bought it 3 years ago!

Maureen and I met Mrs. Mueller at Panera for coffee and conversation. Mrs. Mueller is our old friend Julie's mom. She filled us in on what has been going on with Julie all these years and why she disappeared out of our lives.

We're always remodeling at work, it seems. Today, I was told that the Aurora IT staff (including me) will be moving to new cubicles in a different part of the building later this week. This will be my new cube. How exciting! This will be the second time that I've worked out of this particular office. The time before, though, I had a different job altogether.

This game is Bonkers! Hey, guys (mostly Marla, Molly, Colleen & maybe Margie) - remember playing this? We bought it used off e-bay when Allison was little and it's still just as much fun playing it now with Annie!

Here it comes!! My very generous neighbor brought over the first load of items from his garden - rhubarb. I still have some in the freezer from last year.
Marla May 8, 2010
Dylan and I made breakfast for everyone (waffles, eggs and hashbrowns). Dylan convinced Cole to clean up the pans when we were done eating.

Daisy sleeps everywhere & she does it stubbornly. If you try to move her from where she's sleeping, she'll resist. And, if you don't put her somewhere better, she'll go right back to where she was.

Destiny showed me her brand new shoes at school today. They are called "Twinkle Toes". I think they are so cute (too bad I never had a girl)
Maureen May 7, 2010
I got some more early Mother's Day gifts, when I picked the kids up from school today! Flowers & candy!

Where's Madi?
Under the "T" with a blue apron on. Grandparent's Day. It was a tribute to Miss Patty, the school cook for 21 years.

As much as Cole wanted to we didn't go home. After Vaughn's orchestra there was another one and then Vaughn's orchestra went up to play 2 more songs. The stage was just packed (there were also some band students up there) FYI-I let Cole leave the auditorium and wait for us in the cafeteria.
It was senior night so they had all of the students line up and say what their plans were for next year.

Marla, Eric, Cole and Donna came out to St Peter to help take apart the First Communion Banner from previous pictures. Thank you.

I took a break from census work tonight & we all went to the dog park, instead. Charlie was catching a frisbee again, just like when he was a puppy.

Janet May 4, 2010
On May 4, Janet sent out an email with many wonderful photos of Brady. Miranda suggested that I post some of them, since some people may not have received the email.
Welcome to the world, little human being!
Maureen May 4, 2010
Annie needed a photo of me for some secret project she's doing at school. So, I took a bunch until I got one that I liked. Yay for digital cameras!

I heard that this might be the last day that the ducklings are at our school. So, I had to get a picture of them swimming. We have a set of ducklings every year and one of the teachers always brings a kiddie pool in for them. The momma duck builds her nest and lays the eggs in one of our two courtyards. Then when they think the ducklings are big enough one of the staff members lead the momma and her ducklings through the school (after hours) and down to the river.
