I am learning to cook!! I cooked this soup from scratch, most of my soups come from cans. So this was more work but lots of fun I was soo proud of myself I really thought I wouldn't have time with the kids keeping me busy. But it does relieve some stress! and it's all healthy!! I plan on making everything in this cook book. Plus in the end it was really good! Everyone loved it!!

Jen November 3, 2010

Made the best pumpkin seeds ever! I love the taste of movie theatre popcorn and they tasted just like it!! Yummy wish I made more they didn't last long.

Jen November 2, 2010

I babysat my neighbors little girl and the kids loved playing with her.

Jen November 1, 2010

Took a picture of Emily with the pumpkins before we threw them away. She wanted a taste first.

Marla November 10, 2010

Cole's ceramic birthday cupcake. Every student and staff member made one and they are displayed in the trophy cabinet at school for your birthday month.

Hmmm...what is wrong with this picture? Gianni thought his fish was hungry for grapes!

Gianni came to our house tonight. We had lots of fun giving him "blanket rides" like we used to do with our boys.

Last night, Annie & I copied, stapled & stuffed 118 pocket folders full of information for the kids participating in the district spelling bee that I'm organizing. This morning, I delivered them to the 6 K-6 grade schools in town. This afternoon, 5 more kids signed up for the bee... I'll deliver those ones tomorrow.

Sticking it to the man at the cast party!

The kids & I won't miss the rolled up mats that were in the gym where they put on this show or the rules about sitting on them (which, didn't really have a logical reason for existing and which, apparently, didn't apply to some adults and some kids who were favorites of some adults).

Gianni playing with two of my high school friends children at a birthday party.

Marla November 7, 2010

Passing on some of his wisdom.

I think that all of the ensemble kids like the Whopperburger scene best of all, because they actually got to pretend in it. Shelby liked to pretend to eat the mustard right out of the bottle.

Miranda November 6, 2010

Gianni had some friends over tonight!

Marla November 6, 2010

Another basketball game.

Margie November 6, 2010

Jesse and I played 2 games of Monopoly. It took us 3 hours.

Out at recess

Margie November 3, 2010

I have not found the time to post pictures lately. I am going to try to get back to doing it more regularly.
So, Madi and I made some "Gak." Next thing I know, she is laying on the couch with it over her eyes like a facial mask.

Miranda November 3, 2010

We just got Gianni's new furniture today and he is all ready to take a nap in his new bed!

Maureen November 3, 2010

I want to point at the 'School Bond Issue' sign and laugh like Nelson in The Simpsons - "Haw Haw!". Didn't even see this sign until today, the day after the election, when, finally, after previous attempts over the past couple of years, the school referendum passed by 113 votes.

I was offered a therapy job at Pathways Psychology. So, now I'm leading a therapy group on Tuesday nights.

Maureen November 2, 2010

Shelby decided that he wanted to try skateboarding today. We couldn't find an old one in our garage, so we took him to buy himself one at Target. He's much better on it, already, than I ever was or ever will be.

This is what a teacher's lounge looks like after a holiday/classroom parties.

Maureen November 1, 2010

Human mousetrap. He didn't catch it, today, but we're pretty sure we covered up the hole in our foundation that we saw it crawl into once. We don't mind if it lives out in the yard or garage, just not in the house.

Miranda November 1, 2010

Wow! How did I get to 30 weeks already????

Tonight I made yummy chicken cheese enchiladas they were sooooo good. I never cooked like this before. at first I wasn't sure if I could do it with out help but I did it! I also did it while I was watching my neighbors daughter. Then I went over to her house to put her to sleep and wait for her mom and dad. Very busy day.

Maureen October 30, 2010

This is about one third of the kids that a couple of other mothers & I had to keep quiet in this room during two performances, today. They did pretty good for the first one. Not so much for the second one. Spending this much time with other people's children, though, almost always makes me appreciate mine more.
