The first "Secret Colours" show that we attended in Austin, TX as part of the South by Southwest festival. It was being filmed (for what...I don't know). Then they got interviewed after that show (I think it was a guy from Q101). The last photo is of their official "showcase" show.

Annie signed up to play park district softball this spring. So, she & Jim were out practicing this afternoon.
It's been such a busy week that I feel like I haven't cooked a proper meal for the kids at all. I was glad to have time to make them some real food today, before heading back out for the Sunday show.

Yeah! They finally corrected the spelling on this sign at school. It used to say "V.I.P. Enterance". One of the Fun Fair Moms must have made it. And, guess what? "Entrance" was also one of Cole's spelling words this week.
Vaughn got his acceptance letter from Lake Forest College today. Yeah! Looks like he'll be closer to home next school year.

I spent some time at Discount tire today, sadly. I did have a wonderful conversation with an older gentleman who was telling me about his kids and how much he loves being a grandparent. He lifted my spirits!
This is amazing! We took the van in to get a creaking noise checked out. They fixed the sway bar and the bill only came out to $111.29...we must be living right, that never happens.
The rain made a waterfall outside of our front door. Annie went out to stand in it.
