When the catgrass eventually died, I decided to plant some parsley in the planter that we got for Christmas. It's just starting to sprout now. I wonder if I'll be able to keep it growing.

Cole's Ipod took a ride in the washing machine a few days ago. We researched online and found out that if we let it dry out for at least 3 days in rice that it MAY work again. Today was day 3-it turned on but didn't sound quite right so we'll give it a few more days and try again.

One of our cats passed away at home last night. I brought her remains in to Animal Control this morning, so that they could properly dispose of them. I did fine up until the point where they asked me her name, then I had to start fighting back the tears.

Annie's last game of the regular season - a makeup game from an earlier rained out game. Tournament is later this week & next. She's really enjoyed playing softball & we'll probably sign her up again in the fall.

On the last day of school the 5th graders have a parade through the hallways while the younger students clap for them (or high-five them). It's our way of congratulating them and wishing them well at middle school. (And, I didn't even cry).
