This little guy is in the crane machine at Bowling Green, where we went for the $1/game after 9pm special tonight. Does that '94 on his shirt mean 1994? Has he been in there since 1994? If so, Pixar should make a movie about his adventures, his struggles to stay safe, with some kind of moral, perhaps about his safety concerns keeping him from getting out in the world & really living.

One of the things I do in my new second job is help to clean other buildings when someone is on vacation or calls in sick or quits. I've been doing a lot of filling in at the Downers Grove Library these past few weeks & my job is usually to empty the garbage cans, clean the glass & wipe off tables & desks. There are a surprisingly large number of garbage cans in the library, so many that it takes over an hour to empty them all. The woman who sometimes shares this job & I keep on saying that we should try to count them all, but we usually get distracted & lose count somewhere after 50.

About a month ago Cole and I were at Jewel and they had these really sad looking plants with a free sign on them. Since one of them had a pepper on it we decided to take them home and take a chance (along with a tomato plant). I replanted them, put them out in the sun and have been watering them everyday. Now we have lots of peppers growing on them, it has been very fun. Dylan used one of them tonight in some pico de gallo.
