Happy Easter! Today was James 1st Easter. The Easter Bunny gave him books and some toys. Plus I hid some eggs around the house and he found them. Then it was the dog's turn Riley got most of the treats though must be the Beagle in him. Then we went to Colleen's house and hunted for eggs there too. Stephen was nice to James and gave him two of his eggs, that was very sweet of him. James had such a busy day! Plus the food was soo yummy. Plus we all celebrated Adam and Aunt Mary Lou's Birthday.
We've been without puppies for over a week, now (more coming on Tuesday, we think). The kids enjoyed spending time with tiny Coco (or, is it Cocoa?).
Sorry we didn't make it today...Gianni is congested, I STILL haven't gotten rid of my cold and Joe is just plain exhausted from working so much! We thought of you all and miss you dearly! Gianni still wore his "first Easter outfit" that Molly gave him! Thanks Molly!

Today was Ben's Baptism (Janet's Husband). We went out to dinner then watched Ben get Baptized.
Annie was invited to a classmate's birthday party at Cosley Zoo in Wheaton. Shelby was invited, too, to hang out with the birthday girl's big brother, who is a friend & classmate of his. The flowers were beautiful there.
Today we got some treats for Riley and Juneau's Easter. They also get a little easter treats hunt. But Joe gave them a bone early. Juneau Loved IT!
This is all that's left of a plant that I got from Mom's wake. It began in a basket, but then started dying off. Finally I took the last few stems with leaves and put them in water. I think I'm going to try to plant these last two leaves in dirt and see what happens. I don't have much of a green thumb, and am actually pretty surprised that the plant lasted this long. Still, it was always a nice reminder of Mom, so I hate to see it go.
Here lies our hair dryer. It lived a very long life, as could be noted by the black tape wrapped around the handle. Also, note that it is named 'Son of a Gun'. I assure you that that is NOT what I said when it decided to go out with a HUGE pop as I was trying to get ready for work a few minutes ago! My hands are still shaking! Rest in pieces, you Son of a Gun!
