We went for our annual shopping trip to Dollar Tree, today. We give the kids a dollar for each person who lives in our house & they sneak around the store picking out presents for each other. Lots of fun trying to find the right thing and trying to keep from being seen.

Miranda December 19, 2009

Some days I just don't know what to take a picture of...and, some days there are just so many things.

Vaughn has been waiting to hear from DePaul University to see if he got accepted. He thought that he'd hear through an email first. But, we were surprised today when he got this envelope in the mail. I think that DePaul is his number one choice.

Then Eric, Vaughn and Cole went out to play in the snow. They made this awesome fort. It actually ended up getting a little bigger after this picture was taken.

Annie's class had their holiday concert, today, along with the 3rd & 6th grades. Shelby's class (and the kindergarten, first & 5th graders) will perform in the spring. Annie's in the back row, wearing red, right in front of the brown doorway. She got to play the glockenspiel for this song: Ding Dong Merrily On High

Marla December 16, 2009

We won "bowling dollars" tonight. That means that our team got 5 strikes in a row...AMAZING! It started out with Colleen getting a strike, then Marla, then Miranda, then Sandie and then Colleen again (Donna wasn't there since she sprained her foot). We get to spend them on anything that we want at the St. Charles bowl...so, we'll probably get some drinks.
