My boys were so wiped from the holiday, that they were in bed by 7:30pm so they didn't get to see fireworks : ( So, we did sparklers and bubbles at out neighbors tonight instead.

Annie's had the classroom hamster all month. We were supposed to turn it over to the next kid yesterday, but with all of the excitement, we haven't been able to contact him. After hooking up the generator & turning on the air downstairs, we moved Fluffy down to Shel's room to keep him cool.

The puppies dug a hole under the fence opposite the hole that the kids had already dug on the other side of the fence, thereby making their escape! Annie saw them come through & brought them back in. Then Shel & I cut some junk trees down so that we could move the dog house over a few feet, blocking their hole.

I cooked Cole some frozen salmon to put on a salad...actually I ended up burning the salmon and putting turkey on it instead. I found these instructions a bit confusing..."cook on medium-high FREAT"...maybe that's why I overcooked it.
