The van is at the mechanic shop getting looked at...so, I had to drive Vaughn's VW. It's stick shift, I was a little nervous but I did great. I'm so glad that I was taught to drive on a stick shift (Thanks Dad!) I got so comfortable with it that we drove home from karate with the top down. I think that that's the first time that I've driven a convertible.

I don't think I've ever driven a convertible, either, come to think of it. I should make one of those 'things to do in the next 3 years lists' & add that to it!

The only time I ever got to drive one was when the rental car company upgraded me on a business trip to California years ago. They had been having a drought for over a year... Guess which week the drought ended...
