Happy new year's in IL!
Having fun with our time at the Vegas airport...we were there for about 8 hours waiting for our flight to Denver (as it kept on getting delayed).
Jim and the kids got a wide variety of card and board games for Christmas, this year. We'll have lots of fun playing them all winter long
Cole hiding his eyes from the "Hot Babes" billboard that is driving by. And, when we got to the airport we found out that the Chicago airports were closed due to weather.
We shopped (and had some fun) at American Science & Surplus, today, looking for cool things for Shelby's birthday party.
If you are ever looking for leftovers in our fridge, you should know that the labels that say 'NO' and have a frowny face don't mean that we're not sharing and that *you* can't eat it. They mean that *Shelby* shouldn't eat it.
The Market Day cheese ravioli is delicious, by the way!
Just before midnight (Dylan's 21st birthday)...Susie and Aaron surprised Dylan at our hotel in Las Vegas.
Joe was supposed to have duty today but he got switched to a different section so it was nice having him home for Christmas! They kids had so much fun and so did we. It's nice to see how excited the kids get on Christmas!
Cars as far as the eye can see. I made a dumb move and went shopping out on Randall Road...so did a lot of other people.
Jim & I ate out at IHOP before going to see 'It's A Wonderful Life' at Pheasant Run. It was a great show!
We went to our friends house for the Bears game tonight. Grace and Erik were wearing their game hats!
We tried to make Grandma Larson's toffee recipe, tonight. It didn't work out too well, because we substituted shortening for some of the oleo but, Charlie *really* wanted some of it, anyway. This photo was taken right after we caught him licking the edge of the pan that the kids were cleaning out.
