Annie noticed a note in her 'mailbox' at school on Tuesday (she thinks), but didn't get it out until today, when she was taking things out of her mailbox & putting them into her Friday folder. She didn't open the note until she got home.
Now, she doesn't understand the note at all. She does not know who gave it to her or what, exactly, it's supposed to mean. It says 'hobo Not you' on the first line, then 'Annie' on the second line, all over a picture of... A hobo? Annie? I wonder if we'll ever know or if it will remain a mystery forever.
