She missed on the 4th round - tied for 7th place with some other kids who went out on that round. But what was really awesome was that she realized she spelled it wrong about 4 letters into the word. The judges knew that & asked her if she wanted to start over. But, Annie knew the rule - knew that kids were not allowed to start over & change the order of the letters they'd already said. So, even though she was offered the opportunity to do it, she knew it was against the rules (and knew that I would have to step in and enforce them to keep things fair for everyone) so she told the judges that she wasn't allowed to change her spelling so far.

So proud of her!
