Tonight, Cole and I went to see Ashley in a Ice Show. The theme was Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Ashley was Charlie, so she skated a lot and even had a solo. She is quite good.

Ran out of regular tape & birthday paper when we went to wrap a present for Shel to bring to a birthday party. We used duct tape and old Christmas wrap, instead. He wants to wrap his presents like that from now on.

I am pretty sure that I had a May Day visit from Molly and kids! (I recognize your handwriting) I cannot believe that you would drive all the way up here to surprise me. Makes me feel pretty special. Thanks! And, the funny thing is - last night Jesse asked me what the date would be today. I said, "May 1st - May Day." And then explained the whole thing to him. He was pretty freaked out today when the May basket arrived!

I went to the doctor today cause I just haven't felt good for 2 1/2 weeks. He thinks it's just allergies but prescribed an antibiotic for me (probably just to shut me up). He also told me that I should have an epi-pen. I'm not sure that I believe him. I didn't get the epi-pen prescription filled today (maybe I will another day).

My exercise equipment for the night. I mowed the front yard and the front part of the back yard. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I'll have to handle the woods on Sunday if it does not rain.

Got my hair cut today. One of my family's game me a spa gift card for Christmas. I have gotten these before, and I know it is a lovely gift, but I don't enjoy going to spas. I feel so out of place. All these upscale ladies with perfect hair and nails, talking about their latest trip to Europe. I never know who to tip and how much. The girl who washes my hair, the one who brings coffee, the one who actually cuts my hair. And do I tip them when they do the service, leave it at the desk, chase them around to give it? It is just too much anxiety. And, the $40 cut is no better than the $12 one I get at Cost Cutters. Not to mention $20 bottles of shampoo. For that price I can get 20 bottles on Suave. I am just a fish out of water in a spa.

Our bowling banquet was tonight. Here is our team. We came in 3rd place. We were technically tied for 2nd but the other team had a larger total pin count than us.

My neighbor gave me some of this plant several years ago with the warning that it would spread. It is a nice plant and fits is nice in the woods of my yard. But as she had warned, it has grown from a patch maybe 3 feet round to about 8 feet around. I will need to move some of it to another bare spot.

Tonight at work was crazy. This is the schedule, everyone colored in red called in 'sick'. I was left with me and one other rep. I made a bunch of phone calls and thankfully one other girl came in to help. I must say that if I had to be stuck with just two reps, I'm glad I had the two that I did.

The beginnings of a solar swimming pool heater. You would think that I would have inherited some genes that would make me able to put a screw or a nail in straight, but no such luck. Anyhow, I hope that this heater will work.

last night after I took the dogs out I heard a shot that was very close by. I called 911. Today the cops came to make sure everyone was ok since they received more phone calls last night. That is when we found the bullet hole on the side of our apartment I missed the bullet by only 8 minutes.

Another clock picture. We are headed to Lebanon, Illinois to visit McKendree University (where Vaughn will be going next year). We left so late because we had to wait for Vaughn to get off work and we have to be at the college at 9am. We left Geneva at 11:30pm and arrived at our hotel at about 4:15AM. My body is going to be so messed up from my crazy sleep pattern this past few days.

Our record release show is coming up. It is June 11th at Lincoln Hall, tickets are $10, and it is all ages! Lincoln Hall only holds 500 people and over 200 tickets have already sold, so if you plan on coming out and seeing our best most exciting show you really need to buy a ticket asap.
